| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the correlation between PTEN expression and clinical pathological features and analyze the value of molecular tumor markers in the diagnosis and pathological examination of gastric cancer. Methods Selected 60 cases with surgical resection gastric wax block specimens as the observation group, and the other 60 cases of benign gastric mucosa as the control group, two groups of specimens were given pathological diagnosis and PTEN specimens diagnosis. Results The positive expression rate of PTEN in the observation group was lower than that of the control group and there was statistically significant difference （P 0.05）. PTEN positive expression rate in the observation group was negatively correlated to the degree of differentiation of gastric cancer, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage, the difference was statistically significant （P0.05）. Conclusion PTEN marker is closely related to gastric cancer and pathology results, its expression levels decrease with the rise of histological differentiation, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage. |
