Competency-oriented Research on Humanistic Education of Residents

Standardized residency training is the important part of graduate medical education.Not only should residents master medical knowledge and clinical skills, but also they should have the professionalism and qualified post competency.How to combine the knowledge and skills with medical humanistic education to cultivate residents competency in clinical work is the issue medical educators should consider.In this paper, the author analyzed practical significance of the residents' humanistic education, existing problems, and put forward the concrete strategies on humanistic education and post competency.
