| 摘 要： | Background: The main pathological impairments include edema of facial nerve and different level degeneration of myelin sheath or axis cylinder in Bell's palsy. The prognosis of the disease results from severe degree of the disease and whether treatments are timely or not. The therapy with large dosages of Methylprednisolone (MPS) in vein for Bell's palsy, can relieve local edema,improve nerve conduction,avoid progressive impairments of myeline sheath and axis cylinder and promote repairs of myeline sheath.
