Abstract:Left displaced abomasum (LDA) is one of the major metabolic diseases in dairy cattle resulting in major economic loss within the dairy industry. The ability to predict the occurrence of LDA, especially in the early weeks of post-parturition is crucial. In the present study, 14 biochemical parameters in cows with LDA before and after parturition were compared to those of healthy control cows using the logistic regression statistical model. Significant changes (p?
