| Abstract: | Primary tracheal carcinomas were found in 36 patients with fiberbronchoscopy, accounting for 1.62% of lung cancer of the same period. They consisted of squamous cells carcinoma in 17 cases, adenocarcinoma in 8, undifferentiated small-cell type in 9 and the undetermined cell type in 2. All the patients were associated endoscopically with visible tumor findings. Biopsy produced a positive result of 86. 2% and burshings of 75. 76%. The diagnostic value of fiberbronchoscopy on primary tracheal carcinoma and notes for attention will be discussed. |
