| Abstract: | Objective The application of Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire(MHQ)in hand surgery was reviewed to provide reference for patient-reported outcomes measurement.Methods The literature about MHQ was widely reviewed.The application of MHQ in hand injury,peripheral nerve compression disease and arthritis was summarized and analyzed.Results The literature shows that MHQ has good reliability,validity and responsiveness.It can not only evaluate the overall function of the hand,but also use a subscale to evaluate a certain aspect separately.Conclusion At present,MHQ has become one of the commonly used patient-reported outcomes measurement scales for hand surgery patients in foreign countries,but it is seldom used in China.It is believed that with the emphasis on patient-reported outcomes measurement,its research,application and development will be more and more. |
