Progress of endoscopic breast cancer surgery with preservation of nipple and areola

The incidence of breast cancer is increasing year by year,and the patients tend to be younger.The traditional modified radical mastectomy can not meet the women patients'pursuit of life quality and beauty,the improvement of endoscopy technology has provided new choice for these patients.This paper analyzes the controversial issues in the endoscopic surgery of breast cancer with preservation of nipple and areola:to choose the cavity of dissolving or non-soluble fat,whether safe to keep nipple and areola,whether the sentinel lymph node biopsy is accurate under the endoscope,the prognosis of the patients and how to make the social benefits,etc.,and to summarize the safety and feasibility of endoscopic technique in the treatment of early breast cancer patients.
