Clinical effect of amblyopia training combined with atropine suppression therapy and occlusion in the treatment of children with amblyopia

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of amblyopia training combined with atropine suppression therapy and occlusion in the treatment of children with amblyopia.Methods Sixty-four cases of children with amblyopia enrolled in our hospital from May 2017 to September 2019 were divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment schemes,with 32 cases in each group.The control group was given atropine suppression and occlusion treatment,and the observation group was given amblyopia training treatment on the basis of the control group.The visual acuity,diopter,accommodative amplitude,accommodative lag,accommodative flexibility,stereovision recovery and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results After 3 and 6 months of treatment,the visual acuity of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the diopter,accommodative amplitude and accommodative flexibility of the two groups increased,and the accommodative lag decreased,and those of the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of stereovision recovery and the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Amblyopia training combined with atropine suppression therapy and occlusion in the treatment of children with amblyopia can effectively improve the visual acuity of children,make the diopter,accommodative amplitude,accommodative lag,accommodative flexibility and stereovision recovery faster,with significant curative effect.
