成人与青少年患者对矫治结果满意度的调查

目的了解成人与青少年患者对矫治结果满意度的差别,为临床工作提供有益的启示。方法选择完成正畸治疗、矫治效果均达到医学临床标准的错牙合畸形患者200例,成人（18-35岁）100例（成人组）,青少年（〈18岁）100例（青少年组）。采用改良矫治结果满意度调查表对2组患者矫治结果满意度进行调查,记录相应的分值后进行统计学分析。结果 Y2（治疗后,你认为吃东西比治疗前容易吗？）项目,成人组均值为3.36分,青少年组均值为3.77分,2组比较差异有统计学意义（P〈0.05）。Y3（治疗结束了,你觉得更自信吗？）项目,成人组均值为3.27分,青少年组均值为3.50分,2组比较差异无统计学意义（P〉0.05）;Y1（治疗结束了,你认为你的牙齿很整齐吗？）、Y4（你对治疗结果满意吗？）及Y5（你会建议他人进行正畸治疗吗？）3项内容2组比较差异虽无统计学意义,但获分均较高,均值超过4分。结论治疗前后成人与青少年患者的自信心无明显变化,青少年患者的咀嚼效率较成人患者明显增强;成人与青少年患者均有较高的满意度,说明矫治结果达到医学的临床标准是患者满意的重要前提。

Satisfaction of Adult and Adolescent Patients with Orthodontic Treatment Outcomes

Objective To investigate the satisfaction of adult and adolescent patients with orthodontic treatment outcomes, and to provide beneficial enlightenment for clinical practice. Methods Two hundred malocclusion patients who completed orthodontic treatment（outcomes met the clinical criteria） were divided into two groups： adult group（18 to 35 years of age, n=100） and adolescent group（younger than 18 years of age, n =100）. The satisfaction with orthodontic treatment outcomes was surveyed using the improved satisfaction questionnaire. The scores were recorded and statistically analyzed. Results Compared with adult group, the score of Y2 item（Do you think that it is easier for you to eat than before after treatment？） significantly increased in adolescent group（3.77 vs 3.36,P〈0.05）.No significant difference was found in the score of Y3 item（Do you feel more confident after treatment？）between the two groups（3.50 vs 3.27,P〉0.05）.In addition, there were no significant differences in scores of Y1（Do you think that your teeth are very neat？）, Y4（Are you satisfied with the treatment outcomes）and Y5（Will you recommend orthodontic treatment for others） between the two groups（P〉0.05）. However,the scores of Y1, Y4 and Y5 were greater than 4. Conclusion There are no obvious changes in self-confidence in adult and adolescent patients before and after orthodontic treatment. Compared with adult patients, masticatory function is significantly improved in adolescent patients after orthodontic treatment.Adult and adolescent patients are highly satisfied with the treatment outcomes, suggesting that meeting the clinical criteria is an important premise of patient satisfaction with orthodontic treatment outcomes.
