Abstract: | Delta Hepatitis is considered the most severe form of hepatitis, with varied prevalence, genotype distribution and risk factors worldwide. Current knowledge of global epidemiology is limited due to variable screening practices for HDV. Here, we summarize what is currently known about the prevalence of testing and prevalence of HDV positivity globally. |
