Function of the sympathetic-adrenal system in patients with complicated peptic ulcer |

| Abstract: | Under study was the functional state of the sympathoadrenal system and correlation between its activity and the white blood parameters in 30 patients with ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum complicated by ulcer perforation, bleeding, peritonitis in the postoperative period. It was found that the complicated ulcer disease was accompanied by an increased functional activity of the sympathoadrenal system which was most pronounced in perforation. |
