广州市芳村区老年人根龋情况调查分析

目的了解广州市芳村区老年人牙根部患龋情况,为制定有效的防治措施提供科学依据。方法采用随机抽样的方法,调查芳村区花地、冲口、海南、海北4个街道60岁以上的老年人共608名,详细记录根面龋患病情况、龋均及义齿修复情况等。结果芳村区老年人根面龋患病率为63．16％,龋均为1．49, 充填率为6．41％,戴义齿者高于无义齿者,且以近远中面为好发牙面。结论应加强城乡结合区龋病的防治工作,提高人们自我口腔保健意识及口腔疾病治疗水平。

INVESTIGATION OF THE APICAL CARIES OF SENILE PEOPLE IN GUANGZHOU CITY FANGCHUN DISTRICT

Objective To comprehend root caries of elderly adults in Fangcun district of Guangzhou. Methods By randomly sample, 608 elderly adults were interviewed and clinically examined in Huadi, Chongkou, Hainan and Haibei street of Fangcun district. Results The root caries rate was 63,16%, the mean number of root caries was 1.49, and the restoration rate was 6.41%. There was a significant difference between with denture and without denture. Conclusion These results suggest that preventive oral care and health education for elderly adults are urgently needed. Furthermore, more dental care service should be established to improve the oral health status in suburb.
