Effects of Early ST-segment Changes on Prognosis of Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction Via Venous Urokinase Therap

Objective： To investigate the effect of early ST-segment analysis to predict the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with venous urokinase.Methods： The ST-segment changes on electrocardiogram were studied in 70 patients with acute myocardial infarction before thrombolysis and 2 hours thereafter.Patients were defined as 3 groups： the resolution of ST-segment≥70%（n=19,group A）,from 30% to 70%（n=27,group B）,and 30%（n=24,group C）by the frequency analysis 2 hours after thrombolytic therapy.Results： In group C,the duration to reach peak creatine kinase（CK-MB）in myocardial origin after the onset of symptoms was significantly longer than that in the rest 2 groups（P0.05）and the maximal CK-MB value was bigger than that of group A.Conclusion： Early ST-segment analysis might be used as a tool for assessing the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction after treatment with venous urokinase.
