Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy(eswl)in the treatment of bilateral ureteral calculi.Methods:78 patients with bilateral ureteral calculi admitted to a hospital from July 2017 to June 2018 were slected and divided into two groups according to the number of lithotripsy.39 patients in the control group received two extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy for surgical treatment,while 39 patients in the observation group received one extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy for surgical treatment.The clinical efficacy,renal function and complications of the two groups were compared.Results:The total clinical effective rate in the observation group(92.31%)was significantly higher than that in the control group,the postoperative BUN levels(5.22±1.17)mmol/L,Cr(111.62±10.69)μmol/L and the incidence of complications(10.26%)were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of lithotomy in bilateral ureteral calculi after one extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is not ideal,and the effect of surgical lithotripsy treatment as soon as possible is higher than that after two extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy,which can reduce the degree of renal function injury,with higher safety.
