| Abstract: | A 16-year-old boy presented with recurrenturinary tract infections in spite of antibiotictreatment. Investigations revealed the presenceof an unusual intravesical foreign body i.e. acommon ballpoint. It was removed viacystostomy. In any patient presenting withrecurrent urinary tract infections thepossibility of an intravesical foreign bodyshould always be considered. |
