Application of PDCA Cycle Method in Improving the Satisfaction of Medical Record Copying

Objective To explore the application effect of PDCA cycle method in improving the satisfaction of medical record copying. Methods From July 1 st, 2019 to December 31 st, 2019,randomly selected 200 cases from patients or their agents who applied for medical records copying in the third and fourth quarters of 2019 respectively. To choose the third quarter as the control group and the fourth quarter as the observation group. 400 questionnaires were randomly distributed by anonymous method, and 389 questionnaires were effectively recovered with a recovery rate of 97.25%. The control group was adopted with the routine medical record management mode, and the observation group was adopted with the PDCA cycle management method. Results The rate of excellent and good medical records in the observation group was 100%, higher than that in the control group 88.1%. In the observation group, the process design satisfaction was 85.2%, copy speed satisfaction was 73.5%, copy quality satisfaction was 90.8%, fee rationality satisfaction was 83.2%, service attitude satisfaction was 86.2%, and the overall satisfaction level of medical record copying was 91.8%, which was higher than that of the control group in all aspects. Conclusions PDCA cycle method was helpful to improve the quality of medical record management, it could improve the work efficiency, build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, so as to achieve the goal of improving the satisfaction of patients on medical record copying effectively.
