| Abstract: | The theory of traditional Chinese medicine concerning spleen deficiency is studied clinically and experimentally. This deficiency is charac- terized chiefly by gastrointestinal tract distur- bances of absorption, secretion and peristalsis and maladjustment of bodily nutritional meta- bolism. This article also links the state with respiratory diseases. |
