Abstract: | Antithrombotic therapy poses a significant risk of litigation owing to the risk of devastating outcomes from both the condition for which the therapy is necessary and the therapy itself. Using a case‐based approach, this article illustrates how evidence‐based guidelines, documentation, and patient communication can potentially reduce the likelihood of errors associated with antithrombotic therapy. |
