摘    要:疟原虫多重耐药性的出现以及日趋扩散的耐药形势成为在疟疾防治工作中的最大挑战。新近发展起来的全基因组关联研究(Genome-wide association studies,GWAS)已经广泛应用于多种复杂疾病或性状易感基因分析的工作中。GWAS提供了一种高通量的在全基因组范围内筛选疟原虫耐药基因的强有力的工具,能够进一步明确耐药机制并指导合理用药。本文对GWAS在疟原虫耐药基因分析中的应用进行初步探讨,以期为疟原虫耐药性基因的研究提供参考。

Abstract:The emergence and spreading of Plasmodium multi-drug resistance now become the biggest challenge in prevention and control of malaria. The recently developed genome-wide association studies (GWAS) has been widely used in a variety analysis of susceptibility genes related to complex diseases or traits. GWAS provides us with a powerful tool for a high-throughput screening of Plasmodium drug-resistance genes in the genome-wide range. In that way, we can further clarify the mechanisms of drug-resistance and guide using of drug rationally. In this article, the application of GWAS in Plasmodium drug-resistance genes analysis was discussed to provide potential evidences for investigation of drug-resistance genes of Plasmodium.
