Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of gamma globulin in different application time on children with Kawasaki disease.Methods From January 2016 to January 2019,a total of 60 children with Kawasaki disease admitted to our hospital were selected.The children were divided into two groups according to the application time of gamma globulin,30 cases in each group.The application time of group A was 1-4 days,and that of group B was 5-9 days.The improvement time of clinical symptoms of the two groups was counted.The C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)of the two groups before and after treatment were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results The time for antipyretic,mucosal congestion,and lymph node reduction in group A were longer than those in group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the time of rash resolution and lower extremity swelling between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP and PCT of the two groups of children were significantly lower than before treatment,and the and the levels of CRP and PCT of group B were lower than those of group A,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of using gamma globulin to treat children with Kawasaki disease during 5-9 days of onset is significant,which can shorten the time for improvement of clinical symptoms and reduce the level of inflammation indicators.
