Practice and Discussion on Nursing Management of Venous Thromboembolism

Objective]To standardize the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism(VTE)in hospitals,and provide standardized and homogeneous VTE care for hospitalized patients.Method]The VTE prevention and treatment nursing special team in the hospital was established,the VTE prevention and treatment nursing procedures were improved,and the VTE management information platform was constructed.We have adopted various forms of VTE knowledge training to monitor the quality of VTE prevention.Result]After the formation of the VTE prevention and nursing special group,the awareness rate of health education for VTE high-risk patients was 84.2%,which was higher than 48.4%before the establishment(P<0.05),and the accuracy rate of VTE assessment was 93.60%,which was higher than 89.10%before the establishment(P<0.05),The implementation rate of VTE preventive measures was 90.40%,which was higher than 83.00%before the establishment(P<0.05).Conclusion]The management model of the VTE prevention and nursing special team standardizes nursing behavior and improves the quality of VTE nursing in the hospital.
