Prof.Wang Pei' s experience in treating cancer pain

Cancer pain is one of the most common complications among patients with malignant tumors. It not only causes physical discomforts, but also mental tortures, which seriously affects the quality of life of tumor patients. Prof. Wang Pei points out that the essence of cancer pain is deficiency of healthy qi and excess of pathogenic qi, and patients with cancer pain mainly have solid pain in the early and middle stages, and deficiency pain in the late stage, or both deficiency and excess. The treatment focuses on both internal and external treatment in traditional Chinese medicine, for patients with actual pain, the main treatment methods are promoting blood circulation to remove meridian obstruction, warming and activating meridians, heat-clearing and detoxifying, eliminating phlegm and freeing channels, etc;for those with deficiency and pain, the key is to strengthen the body resistance and eliminate pathogenic factors, and to regulate the spleen and kidney.
