Clinical effect of subconjunctival cyst cystoplasty in the treatment of severe symblepharon

Objective To explore the clinical effect of subconjunctival cyst cystoplasty in the treatment of severe symblepharon.Methods A total of 40 patients with severe symblepharon treated in our hospital from January 2017 to July 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 20 cases(20 eyes)in each group.The control group was treated with traditional operation to release the adhesion and then covered with amniotic membrane,and the observation group was treated with subconjunctival cyst cystoplasty.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The incidence of conjunctival cysts in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the depth of the conjunctival sac,intraocular pressure and eyeball movement of the two groups improved,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications and the recurrence rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Subconjunctival cyst cystoplasty in the treatment of severe symblepharon has significant clinical effects,it can help deepen the depth of the conjunctival sac,reduce intraocular pressure,and improve eyeball movement,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
