Application of Health Education Clinical Nursing Path in Diabetes Care

Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathwaybased health education in diabetes mellitus patients.Methods 90 diabetes mellitus patients treated from January to November 2019 in our hospital were included in the study.According to random arrangement method,45 cases were divided into group A and received routine health education;45 patients in group B received health education clinical nursing path care.The effect of health education was evaluated by the patients'blood glucose control,nursing compliance and awareness before and after nursing.Results Before intervention,HbAlc(glycosylated hemoglobin),FPG(fasting plasma glucose)and 2hPG(2-hour postprandial plasma glucose)levels between groups were not significantly different(P>0.05);after intervention,related values in the research group were lower than control group(P<0.05);before intervention,nursing compliance and cognition scores between groups were not significantly different(P>0.05);After nursing,the cognition score and nursing compliance score of group B were higher than that of group A(P<0.05).Conclusion During the health education,clinical nursing pathway has better effects,which can control patient’s blood glucose levels,and improve the cognition degree,nursing compliance,selfcare ability and treatment prognosis.
