Electric needles combined with ankle trainers to observe the clinical efficacy of foot sagging after stroke

Objective To observe the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with ankle joint trainer on foot drop after stroke.Methods 60 patients with poststroke foot drop were divided into control group(N=30)and Treatment Group(N=30).The Control Group was given routine rehabilitation training and general acupuncture treatment once a day for 6 days as a course,treatment 6 days rest 1 day,a total of 6 weeks of treatment;In the treatment group,the ankle joint trainer and electro-acupuncture therapy were added on the basis of routine rehabilitation training,once a day,with 6 days as a course of treatment and 6 days rest and 1 day rest for 6 weeks,before and after treatment,the affected side Tibialis anterior muscle,triceps SURAE and ankle dorsiflexion activity were examined.Results There was no significant difference in ankle joint mobility between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The ankle mobility of the two groups was significantly improved after treatment(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the surface EMG Max of Tibialis anterior and triceps Surae of both groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01).The change rate of SEMG in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Electro-acupuncture combined with ankle joint training device can improve the mobility of foot and ankle joint and improve walking function after stroke.
