Rational release of orbital septum fat combined with orbicularis oculi muscle flap turnover filling in sunken blepharoplasty

Objective To study the application effect of orbital septum fat release combined with orbicularis oculi muscle flap turnover filling in sunken blepharoplasty.Methods The clinical data of 32 patients with depressed lower eyelid blepharoplasty in our hospital from April 2018 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients underwent orbital septal fat release combined with orbicularis oculi muscle flap turnover filling.During the operation,according to the actual situation of the patients,the fat in the orbital septum was selectively released,and part of the fat was appropriately removed.The fat was folded and fixed on the edge of the orbital bone,and then sutured with the turned orbicularis oculi myocutaneous flap to fill the depression of the lower eyelid bag.The incidence of postoperative complications,recurrence and satisfaction of patients with eye shape were summarized.Results The incisions in 32 patients healed at first stage without infection,hematoma,ectropion,trichiasis,scar hyperplasia and other complications.All the patients were satisfied with the results of eye contour reduction,25 cases were satisfied,7 cases were basically satisfied,and the total satisfaction was 100.0%.All the patients were followed up for 3-12 months,there were no recurrence of sunken blepharoplasty.The lower eyelid skin was tight and flat.Conclusion Reasonable release of orbital septum fat combined with orbicularis oculi muscle flap turnover filling in the treatment of depressed blepharoplasty has a satisfactory effect.It can not only maintain the integrity of the anterior wall of orbital septum,strengthen the tension of the anterior wall,reduce complications,but also ensure the blood supply of filling fat and reduce recurrence,which is worthy of promotion.
