Effect of nursing intervention based on the transtheoretical model and stages of change on rehabilitation and mental state of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding

Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on the transtheoretical model and stages of change(TTM)on rehabilitation and mental state of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods A total of 86 patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding hospitalized from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as the study objects and divided into observation group(43 cases,nursing intervention based on TTM)and control group(43 cases,conventional nursing)according to the random number table method.The psychological state,self-care ability and rehabilitation of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of each dimension of self-care ability in the two groups increased,and those in the observation group were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of rehabilitation in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on TTM can improve the psychological state of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding and the self-care ability,and promote patients'rehabilitation,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
