Application value analysis of FLAIR vascular hyperintensity sign in predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke

Objective To explore the effect of fluid attenuated inversion recovery sequence vascular hyperintensity sign in magnetic resonance imaging in predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods 100 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were hospitalized from September 2017 to August 2020 were included in the scope of this study.According to whether FLAIR showed signs of vascular hyperintensity,they were divided into a control group(50 cases,vascular hyperintensity sign negative)and observation group(50 cases,vascular hyperintensity sign positive).The degree of vascular stenosis,collateral circulation classification,admission and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Results The number of mild to moderate stenosis cases,severe stenosis cases,infarct volume at admission,NIHSS score at admission,NIHSS score at discharge,and grade 1 and 2 collateral circulation cases in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.The observation group was completely occluded The number of cases,the number of cases of grade 4 and 5 collateral circulation was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the number of cases of grade 3 collateral circulation between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion FLAIR vascular hyperintensity has significant value in predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke.FLAIR hyperintensity patients have better collateral circulation,so the neurological function recovery after treatment is better and the prognosis is better.
