Lipoic Acid Combined with Alprostadil in the Treatment of 30 Cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Lipoic acid combined with Alprostadil in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2MD)with peripheral neuropathy.Methods:Sixty patients with T2MD complicated with peripheral neuropathy admitted to Ningdu County People’s Hospital were selected between May 2017 and November 2019,and the 60 patients were evenly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the odd-even number method.All the patients were given blood glucose control therapy,and the control group was additionally treated with Alprostadil,and the observation group was treated with Lipoic acid combined with Alprostadil.The total clinical effective rate of the two groups was compared.Nerve conduction velocities(SNCV and MNCV),oxidative stress(MDA and SOD),VAS score and TSS score were statistically analyzed in the two groups before and after treatment,and the occurrence of adverse reactions were recorded.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group93.34%(28/30)vs 73.34%(22/30)](P<0.05).The SNCV and MNCV in the two groups after treatment were better than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the conduction velocities of SNCV and MNCV in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The MDA and SOD in the two groups after treatment were better than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the MDA and SOD in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of VAS and TSS after treatment were lower than those before treatment in the two groups(P<0.05),and the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion:The combination of Lipoic acid and Alprostadil has a significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of T2MD with peripheral neuropathy.The treatment results are superior to the single medication,which can significantly improve the symptoms and corresponding indicators,and will not increase the adverse reactions,and can be promoted.
