| Abstract: | Hemarisin（prodigiozan） and prodigiosin are different substances,but are often confused with each other.The history,chemical nature,physicochemical features,pharmacological activities and clinical applications are reviewed and compared based on the information searched and retrieved from the internet and medical literatures to provide with clear ideas about the two substances. |
