| Abstract: | Hot-melt extrusion has become one of the hottest processingtechniques in the array of drug delivery system in the passing years. This technique has a marked superiority in improving the dissolution rates and solubilities of poorly water-soluble drugs and processing the sustained-release and target or topical delivery systems of pharmaceuticals. This paper reviews the principle and the application of this technique. |
