| Abstract: | Vascular smooth muscle cells （VSMC） are primary cellular components of the blood vessel wall. VSMC apoptosis is involved in atherosclerosis and restenosis. This article reviews recent progress in VSMC apoptosis research from the aspect of its motivation gene and the role in atheroselerosis and its development. |
