| Abstract: | A 71-year-old woman received an IV infusion of adenosine cyclophosphate 40 mg in 0.9% sodium chloride 250 ml for her hyperthyroid heart disease.About five minutes after the infusion started,she experienced severe lumbago and palpitation,followed by bilateral palpebral oedema,chest distress and vomiting 30 minutes later.Her blood pressure was 180-190/100-105 mm Hg,and moist rales were heard in the lower lungs.Renal function tests showed the following values: occult blood(+++),protein(+++),and 1-2 RBC/high po... |
