| Abstract: | We describe a patient who received continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and developed catheter-related peritonitis caused by Aspergillus sydowii. Identification of A. sydowii was confirmed by the sequence analysis of the ribosomal RNA genes. The patient remained well after removal of the peritoneal catheter without administration of any anti-fungal agent. |
