1，6-二磷酸果糖治疗小儿病毒性心肌炎的疗效

Therapeutic effects of fructose 1,6-diphosphate in treating viral myocarditis in children

AIM: To study the therapeutic effects of fructose 1,6diphosphate (FDP) in treating viral myocarditis in children. METHODS: One hundred and three cases of viral myocarditis in children, admitted in our hospital from Jan. 1994 to Oct. 1999, were divided into 2 groups: FDP group (53 cases) and control group (50 cases). In FDP group, FDP was administered at a dose of 100-250 mg/kg by intravenous infusion daily for 10-14 d; in control group, 1 ampoule of energic mixture in 10% glucose solution was administered similarly. During the treatment, symptoms and signs, electrocardiograms, chest films, echocardiograms, myocardial zymograms, Cox B 1-6 antigenantibody determinations were evaluated. RESULTS: For FDP group and control group, the overall efficacy rates were 981% and 80% respectively, while the significant recovery rates were 698% and 34% respectively; the therapeutic effects of the FDP group were better than those of the control group (P<001). CONCLUSION: The treatment of viral myocarditis in children with FDP reveals fairly well therapeutic effects.
