The improvement methods and effect of management for surgical instruments in operating room

Objective To improve the management outcome of surgical instruments in operating room. Methods The improvement measures included setting up instrument nurse team,providing pre -position training, practicing flexible working shifts,identifying duties and responsibilities, standardizing the management of surgical instruments in the process of preparation,intra - operative supply and postoperative disposal. Results This practice of shortened operating time, increased doctors and nurses＇ satisfaction and improved the cleaning quality of instruments. Conclusions The improvement of measures of instrument management can ensure the high -quality, timely and accurate supply of surgical instruments, which is proved to be effective to improve the quality of nursing in operating room.
