Synthesis and microbial evaluation of novel N(1)-Arilidene-N(2)-t(3)-methyl-r(2),c(6)-diaryl-piperidin-4-one azine derivatives

Abstract:Some novel N(1)-arylidene-N(2)-t(3)-methyl-r(2),c(6)-diarylpiperidin-4-one azine derivatives were synthesized and their antibacterial activity against Streptococcus faecalis, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus and antifungal activity against Candida-6, Candida-51, Aspergillus niger, and Aspergillus flavus evaluated.
