| Abstract: | A new device for establishing an emergency airway provides sterility, anesthesia, control of bleeding, safe and quick entrance into the cricothyroid space, and adequate air exchange. In addition, the device is compatible with standard anesthetic and resuscitation machines, inexpensive, and small enough to be carried in a pocket. |
