Protection of Noninvasive Limb Ischemic Postconditioning During Reperfusion in Myocardial Infarction Rats

Abstract:Objective To observe the protective effects of noninvasive limb ischemic postconditioning during reperfusion in acute myocardial infarction rats.Methods All wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups(n=15 in each group):(1)Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R);(2) Coronary artery ischemic postconditionng(CPOC);(3) Remote postconditioning(RPOC).We recorded the incidence rate of ventricular arrhythmogenesis(VA) during reperfusion,and measured myocardial area at risk(AAR)、myocardial infarcted area(IA)、IA/AAR、MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase(CK-MB) after 3 h of reperfusion.Results VA、IA、IA/AAR、CK-MB were significantly less in RPOC and CPOC as compared to I/R(P<0.01).Conclusion The noninvasive limb ischemic postconditioning during reperfusion could reduce the incidence rate of arrhythmogenesis and prevent myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
