护理本科男生职业价值观的质性研究

目的探讨护理本科男生职业价值观的取向,以利于有的放矢地教育和引导学生树立积极、正确的职业价值观,促使其健康成长。方法采用定性研究的方法,对大连医科大学2005-2008级10名护理学本科男生进行面对面访谈,采用记录和录音相结合的方式收集原始资料,每次访谈结束后,立即整理和分析资料。结果主题1:护理本科男生择业时的盲目性、随机性、从众性倾向明显;主题2:护理本科男生职业价值观的形成具有阶段性、多样性,处于一种发展的不稳定状态;主题3:护理本科男生职业生涯规划意识淡薄。结论应培养护理专业男生正确、积极的职业价值观,加强职业生涯规划教育。

A qualitative study on professional values among male nursing undergraduates

Objective To explore professional values among male nursing undergraduates in order to facilitate targeted education and guide male students to establish the positive and correct professional values. Methods Qualitative research methods were developed for face-to-face interviews among 10 male nursing undergraduates enrolling between 2005 and 2008 in Dalian Medical University. Primary data were collected by taking notes and recording,and the data were immediately sorted and analyzed after each interview. Results Theme 1 was that the blindness,randomness,conformity of career choices was obvi- ous;theme 2 was that professional values of male students were in a state of instability,with stages and diversity;theme 3 was that male students had weak awareness of career planning. Conclusions Professional values of male nursing students should be correctly fostered,and the career planning education should be reinforced.
