新感与伏邪学说是温病发病学的主要内容，是随着中医外感病学理论发展而产生的，认为外邪侵入可直接发病，也可先潜入体内，过时发病。在系统回顾伏邪、新感学说沿革的基础上，浅析其涵义与特点，围绕如何看待伏邪温病学说，进而提出对伏邪新感学说的研讨应结合现代临床诊治，尤其伏邪学说对于临床辨证以及治疗有着重要作用。

Brief Discussion on New Affection and Incubative Pathogen Doctrine

The new affection and the incubative pathogen doctrine were the major contents in the pathogenesis of febrile diseases. It was considered that the invading of external pathogenic factors can cause disease directly, and can also invade into the body to induce the disease some times later. Based on the systematical reviewing the continuing use and development of the new affection and incubative pathogen doctrine the connotations and the features of them were analyzed. Furthermore, it was put forward that the study of new affection and the incubative pathogen doctrine must be combined with modern clinical diagnosis and treatment. Especially, the incubated pathogen doctrine played an important role in the clinical differentiation of symptoms and signs and treatment.
