Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to compare the reported level of job satisfaction of nurse executives in rehabilitation hospitals with that of nurse executives in acute care hospitals. The findings revealed that nurse executives in rehabilitation were more satisfied than their acute care counterparts in areas related to promotion, supervision, and relationships with coworkers. The rehabilitation nurse executives were less satisfied than the acute care group in the areas of pay and the work itself. |
