Transgenic technology in the researches of cutaneous tumors

Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are common cutaneous tumors which are related to multiple factors. Tumors are genopathies from the viewpoint of genetics, and the possible involved genes have been unclear due to the restriction of technique and tools in the past. With the improvement in transgenic and gene targeting technique, researchers have been able to accurately study the concrete functions of special genes in the pathogenesis of tumors, which may benefit the identification of tumor pathogenesis and guidance of treatment. In this paper, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are taken for examples to outline the latest progress in transgenic technology in the research of cutaneous tumors.
