| Abstract: | Topical application of the adrenal steroid, dehydroepiandrosterone, or the synthetic steroid, 3-beta-methylandrost-5-en-17-one, which unlike dehydroepiandrosterone is not demonstrably uterotrophic, inhibits 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene-induced skin papillomas and carcinomas in the CD-1 mouse. |
