10组抗菌药物对耐药伤寒的疗效观察

对以M_1型为优势的耐氯霉素等抗菌药物的伤寒菌株引起的220例伤寒患者进行了药物治疗观察,发现氟哌酸、氟哌酸与甲氧苄氨嘧啶、氟哌酸与庆大霉素联台治疗组的疗效优于氯霉素或含氯霉素的联合治疗组。采用氟哌酸治疗无严重全身毒副反应,未见复燃或复发病例,费用亦经济。一般病例单用氟哌酸即可,重症病例可与其他抗菌药物联合治疗。在广泛存在耐药菌株流行的情况下,应首选氟哌酸治疗伤寒。

OBSERVATIONS ON CURATIVE EFFECT OF TEN GROUPS OF ANTIMICROBIAL DRUGS ON CHLORAMPHENICOL-RESISTANT STRAINS OF SALMONELLA TYPHI

The drug therapeutic observation made on 220 cases of typhoid fever. The dominant strain isolated from those patients was type M_1 and resistant to chloramphenical and other antimicrobia_1 drugs. It was found that the curative effect of norfloxacin alone or norfloxacin combined with TMP or gentamycin was much better than that of chloramphenical or combination therapy containing chloramphenicol. Neither relapse or recurrence nor severe systemic side-effects were found after treatment with norfloxacin. Another advantage of these therapies was their low cost as compared with other therapies. Generally norfloxacin alone is effective, but for severe cases it should be used in combinaton with other antimicrobial drugs. Under the circumstances of extensive epidemic with choramphenicol resistant strains, norfloxacin should be the choice of treatment.
