Abstract:Objective To observe CEUS characteristics of renal cortical and medullary before and after renal ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI) on rabbit models. Methods The model of renal IRI were established in 12 rabbits. CEUS was performed on each rabbit before and 24 h after model establishment. The characteristics of parameters of renal perfusion time-intensity curve (TIC) was analyzed. Results The value of gradient between start frame to peak frame (Grad) renal cortical before IRI was significantly higher than that after IRI (P<0.05). The value of arrival time (AT), time to peak intensity (TTP) and area under the cure (AUC) of renal cortical were significantly lower than those after IRI (P<0.05), no significant difference was found in difference between B and the intensity at t=0 (A) of renal cortical before and after IRI (P>0.05). The value of TTP and AT renal medullary before IRI were significantly higher than those after IRI (P<0.05), no significantly difference was found in A, AUC, Grad of renal medullary before and after IRI (P>0.05). Conclusion CEUS monitoring rabbits renal cortical is able to detect changes of perfusion of renal IRI sensitively with the help of analysis of TIC. It can provide some experimental basis for clinical noninvasive evaluating on renal injury.
