| Abstract: | Objective To study the relationship between erythrocyte deformability and glycated hemoglobin levels in type 2 diabetic patients.Methods glycated hemoglobin、the index of rigidity of erythrocyte(IR) and the index of deformability of erythrocyte(TK) from 197 samples of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and 30 normal control subjects were determined. Results The red blood cells in patients with type 2 diabetes rigidity index,erythrocyte deformation index,were higher than the normal control group,and statistically significant difference(P<0.05);TK and IR were positively correlated with glycated hemoglobin(γ as 0.756,0.622,P<0.05),respectivedly.Conclusion The glycated hemoglobin levels of patients with type 2 diabetes affect erythrocyte deformability. |
