| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the value of intravenous contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis on ocular ischemic syndrome.Methods 28 cases patients with ocular ischemic syndrome suspected carotid artery stenosis were enrolled in the study.Ultrasound contrast agent Sonovue(Bracco,Italy) was used.The imaging of contrast enhancement of the carotid artery were recorded,results of 22 patients were compared with MRI.Results Compared with CDFI,carotid artery Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound provided higher resolution and a higher diagnostic accuracy.It gave a better correlation with MRI and a higher diagnostic accuracy in grading a stenosis than CDFI.Conclusion Carotid artery Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound is prominent in detection of carotid artery stenotic lesions on ocular ischemic syndrome and more useful in evaluating carotid stenosis. |
