乳腺癌组织中COX-2与IL-8表达的相关性及临床意义

摘    要:目的:探讨乳腺癌组织中环氧化酶-2(COX-2)和白细胞介素-8(L-8)表达的相关性及临床意义。方法:采用免疫组织化学法对60例乳腺癌患者病理组织中的COX-2和IL-8进行检测,并与31例乳腺良性疾病对照,分析其相关性,以及二者与肿瘤大小、浸润程度、TNM分期、淋巴结转移及雌激素受体(estrogen receptor,ER)和孕激素受体(progesteronreceptor,PR)表达等生物学行为的关系。结果:乳腺癌组织中COX-2和IL-8阳性表达率分别为66.7%、60.0%均显著高于对照组(P=0.0006、P=0.0002),且二者表达存在明显正相关(r=0.433,P〈0.001)。COX-2和IL-8阳性细胞表达率与肿瘤大小、浸润程度、TNM分期、淋巴结转移情况均有明显差异(P均〈0.05),而与ER和PR的表达状态无明显相关(P均〉0.05)。结论:COX-2和IL-8在乳腺癌组织中过度表达且呈正相关,提示乳腺癌组织中COX-2和IL-8存在相互调控机制,共同促进肿瘤的发生和发展。

Abstract:Objective:To study the relationship and significance of the expression of COX-2 and IL-8 in cells of breast cancer. Methods:Speciments from 60 patients with breast cancer and 31 patients with benign breast diseases were studied.Agiogene was assessed by the expression of cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) and interleukin-8(IL-8) using immunohistochemical staining, study the relationship, as to analyze relationships between them and tumor size,tumor type,TNM stages, lymph nodes metastasis and expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and progestin receptor(PR)as well.Results:The expression rate of COX-2 and IL-8 in breast cancer cells were higher than that of normal controls(66.7%,60.0% P=0.0006, P=0.0002).The expression rate of IL-8 in breast cancer of positive expression of COX-2 were higher(r=0.433, P〈0.001).There were significant correlations between COX-2,IL-8 and tumor size,tumor type,TNM stages and lymph node metastasis(P〈0.05), but non-significant correlations with ER,PR(P〉0.05). Conclusion The high expression of COX-2 and IL-8 in cells of breast cancer was positive correlated,suggesting they may regulate each other and jointly contribute to the tumorigenesis and progression of breast cancer.
