银杏叶提取物改善癫痫患者认知功能研究

目的观察银杏叶提取物（EGb）对癫痫患者认知功能及血浆肌酸激酶脑型同工酶（CK—BB）含量的影响，探讨EGb对癫痫发作后认知损害的保护作用及其可能机制。方法符合要求的45例癫痫患者随机分为治疗组（23例）及对照组（22例），对照组给予丙戊酸钠（VPA）治疗，治疗组在对照组治疗基础上加用银杏叶片。24周后，比较2组治疗效果及2组患者治疗前后认知功能、血浆CK—BB含量的变化。结果治疗后，2组间的疗效比较差异无统计学意义（P〉0．05）；治疗组患者认知评分较对照组明显改善（P〈0．05）；2组CK—BB水平均比治疗前降低（P〈0．05），且治疗组降低更明显（P〈0．05）。结论EGb能明显改善癫痫患者的认知功能损害，这一作用可能与其减轻癫痫发作时脑细胞损伤相关。

Effect of Ginkgo biloba leaf extracts on the cognitive function of epileptic patients

Objective To observe the effects of extracts of Ginkgo biloba leaf （EGB） on the cognitive function and possible mechanism in patients with epilepsy. Methods A total of 45 outpatients who were admitted to Donghai Hospital and diagnosed with epilepsy were randomly divided into a treatment group （ VPA ＋ EGb, n = 23 ） and a control group （ VPA, n = 22）. Twenty - four weeks later, the cognitive functions before and after treatment were observed according to the Beijing version of Montreal cognitive assessment. The levels of serum CK - BB were examined by the enzyme - linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. Results There was no significant difference in efficacy between the two groups after treatment. Cognitive function was improved more obviously in VPA ＋ EGb group than that in VPA group （ P 〈 0.05 ）. The levels of serum CK - BB in the two groups were lowered after treatment （ P 〈 0.05 ）, where more significant reduction was seen the treatment group （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusions EGB can remarkably improve the cognitive function of patient with epilepsy which may be associated with its ability to reduce the damage of neurons.
